One word to sum up this Portugal walking trip would be 'dramatic'. The wild coastline is just incredibly stunning and unspoiled, the numerous creeks and inlets with the ochre cliffs and clear turquoise water are so inviting, the small and timeless fishing villages are picture postcard beautiful. It's a gentle and easy way of life in this part of the world and yet it is overflowing with Portugal's martime history. This trip starts and ends in Faro, the capital city of the Algarve, a typical portuguese whitewhashed city, the facades adorned with traditional mosaics. It is a peaceful and laidback place to explore and enjoy. In fact, this whole trip is a chilled out experience!
