A walking holiday in France, exploring the beautiful Périgord Noir

Welcome to the Dordogne: a region in the southwest of France, known for its rich heritage and excellent gastronomy! Escape with your family or friends to the Périgord Noir and enjoy a walking holiday in France with a mild climate, great food, rural landscapes and unspoilt scenery.

Our Périgord walking holidays combine the remarkable sites of the Dordogne valley, classified by UNESCO for the preservation of its natural heritage, and the Vézère valley, one of the first cradles of human evolution and the famous Lascaux cave.

Our self-guided walking trips retrace the footsteps of our ancestors, leading you through pretty medieval villages perched on the banks of the river such as Domme, La Roque Gageac, Beynac, Limeuil and Saint Leon sur Vézère.

Discover the majestic castles of Beynac, Castelnaud, Commarque, Milandes and the hanging gardens of Marqueyssac. Admire great prehistoric & troglodytic sites in Les Eyzies, La Roque Saint Christophe & Lascaux.
