The ferry boat over to the islands is so much fun for children and the overnight stay in the mountain refuge adds a real sense of adventure to the trip! The exquisite botanical gardens are not to be missed and we believe that even the children will enjoy them (and you can always bribe them with the promise of an Italian Gelati and the end of the visits!).
